Deputy FM: Demarcation work between Azerbaijan, Russia to continue for 3-4 years

The demarcation work has begun between Russia and Azerbaijan, and signs have already been installed along a border of 70 km in accordance with the plan, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov said on Thursday.

Khalafov said there is a joint action plan approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.

"But demarcation is a long-term process. It's not a matter of a year or two. This process between Azerbaijan and Russia will last for about three or four years, so that border signs are placed all along the border in accordance with international standards,” he added.
